( 5 / 1 )Misinformation, Deptford Twp. NJ 08096
At 12:01pm 10/28/08 I placerd a call to the Deptford Twp. NJ office to ask about early voting hours and where. This is Exactly what happened.
When the Female voice on the phone answered, I asked if 'we' had early voting. Her answer was a flat 'No" I asked again commenting that it was tipical of NJ, I asked "we don't have early voting?" Answer, "no we don't have early voting"
I pushed a little harder and was told to hold while being tranfered to the clerk. When the clerk answered I asked the same question.
"do we have early voteing because I have a Medical problem(I do) her answer, "of course we do, at the Deptford Mall in the County store next to Boscov"
I asked why I was told by the Receptionist that we didn't, she imediately asked, "Who told you that?"
I explained it, she gave me the information I needed, very politely I might add. We do have early voting!
... Point, how many others have made that same phone call and gotten the same answer of "no" and why?
... Why wouldn't a Twp. receptionist know that we in the state have early voting. How many people will not vote because they can't stand in line and have been told that there is no other way.
... The state flag of NJ should have a tube of KY on it. Welcome to NJ, now grag your ankles, this won't hurt a bit!

( 0 / 0 )Insight to riot.
... Somewhere in the back of my mind I remember the term "insight to riot" Isn't that what Ms. Palin, and John McCain do when they feed the frenzy of the white trash in their audience.
... When some no knowledge trailer trash slob shouts "kill him" or "He is a terrorist" in response to their rederect about Mr. Obama.
... Isn't it a shame that these two can't hold an audience without playing to the lowest of all human fears.
... Mr. McCain, Ms. Palin, are all of your supporters self-righteous low life bigot racist, or are they the only ones that turn out for your rally?
... Please don't tell me you have no control. What you have is no desire to correct these imbeciles. No desire to tell the truth, but then we already know that.
... Just think, their going to reproduce, and both of you are against abortion?
What a scary thought!

( 5 / 4 )The debates, #3 Are you joking.
... I will support the candidate I feel can do the best job. But they must meet a criteria that most Politicians lack. An absolute honesty and the balls to say. "You are a liar" when their opponent twist the truth to fit his or her personal gain. Not some flunky that is hired to be a scapegoat and say what the Candidate is thinking and feels it isn't PC to say.
... Last night I watched Mr. McCain first shake hands with what had to be a plant. An ex-Navy man sitting front and to the side where it would be easiest to stroll over and shake his hand in a greeting of the former Military. BULL! He knew the man would be there and knew exactly where he would be. Bravo Mr. McCain great show, and that is exactly what it was, a show!
... Lie after lie, and Mr. Obama countered with gentle words, why? The man is a liar and a phony, so is his running mate the Moose shooter, Ms. Palin. What a piece of work, not even the most severe man haters will support her. She can't answer a question, yet knows all the answers because they are scripted. Be aware a more designing Woman has never been closer to power, and if she gets it, get a lot of lube your going to need it.
... Maverick no, Sidewinder yes. Look it up. While you are at it remember that the Maverick Brothers were Gamblers.
... Mr. McCain wants 300 Billion more to buy bad Mortgages. What was the 800 Billion for, pocket money for CEO's to vacation on?
Winner, not from here.

( 5 / 1 )Oh yes, an other great debate. VP (Yawn!)
... It would be ludicrous to define last nights, What would one call it, certainly not a debate.
... Bravo to Mr. Biden for staying awake, kudos for not stopping and walking off the first of many times that Ms. Palin refused to answer a question, I counted seven.
... One she blatantly explained that she had no intention of answering.
... A debate, not by any stretch of the imagination.
... She did find the intelligence to say that she would like more authority in the VP's office. Hm, I wonder why, and don't hold your breath, JUST MAKE SURE SHE NEVER GETS THE CHANCE!
... If Ms. Palin is so involved in Healthcare for Medically challenged children, why does she keep handing her baby off to others, or haven't the Palin McCain supporters noticed that one of her younger daughters is always carrying that baby. I should think that the one that is knocked up(excuse me, pregnant) would need the experience.
... Speaking of that, boyfriend Levi really looks like he wants to be a part of that Family. Sorry but the poor smuck got into something I think he now regrets more than a child.(pun intended)
Be afraid, be very very afraid of this woman.

( 5 / 2 )Life as a re-run, or is that TV
... Before 8 years ago I only watched TV if I were in someone else's home and it was on. Then I stared at it like the other idiots in the room, oblivious to what was going on in the small screen.
... Visiting friends that constantly complained about their electric bill, too stupid to realize that the 7 TV sets in the house were all on and no one was paying any attention. And BTW that little box burns almost as much electric when turned off (no picture stupid) as it does when the 300th re-run of Smokey and the Bandit is on in the Bathroom, Den, Kitchen, Garage, Bedrooms (Yes that's an S it means more than one)
... Eight years ago I was diagnosed with cancer and now spend much of my time in the house. After about a year and chemo, a heart attach, and an ulcer(No doubt because of the 700th running of Titanic) I turned the damn thing off and left it off.
... With the Election and the uniqueness of it I have tried to follow it on the cable news. Don't waste time, fox is pro George and the

( 4.3 / 3 )First Debate. And the winner??
Watching the debate last night was like watching each and every ad the Candidates are running, nothing more nothing less. No insight no smoking gun that defines them as someone that could or would "change' anything except their suite.
Too many questions answered with cookie cutter answers, too many questions answered with the same answer used over and over. 90 minutes wasted when I could have been watching paint dry.
Truly no one but the media could call this a 'debate' more an in person running of the TV ads, without "I approved this message"
We all know what is wrong, we're living it on a daily basis. We all feel mentally, emotionally and physically what is going on in the US and around the world, what we don't know is how either of you intend to fix it. Not Mr. Obama with distinct grammar. Not with tiresome cliché Mr. McCain. Not with accusation or reference to what was done but what will be done.
Last nights debate(yawn)

McCain + Palin 0r Palin +McCain
I personally think Ms. Palin gave away her intention yesterday when she stated that it was the Palin McCain ticket. That was no Freudian slip, this Woman wants that office and is willing to lie and cheat her way into it. Voters be ware!
I also think John McCain knows it as well, his mix-up about Spain, and some other recent slips are no doubt due to him watching his ass with Ms. Palin. Or is he watching hers.

( 3.9 / 7 )Repost from the Washington post:
Obama and McCain Tax Proposals
According to a new analysis by the Tax Policy Center, a joint project of the Urban Institute and the Brookings Institution, Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain are both proposing tax plans that would result in cuts for most American families. Obama's plan gives the biggest cuts to those who make the least, while McCain would give the largest cuts to the very wealthy. For the approximately 147,000 families that make up the top 0.1 percent of the income scale, the difference between the two plans is stark. While McCain offers a $269,364 tax cut, Obama would raise their taxes, on average, by $701,885 - a difference of nearly $1 million.

Palin on Pipeline.
... Just in case no one noticed Ms. Palin last night giving her speech to those that welcomed her back to Alaska.
... One of the first things she told the crowd was that they would get their pipeline if John McCain was elected. I believe that is the same pipeline she asked those in church to pray to God for.
... Her speech offered little else unless you start counting the number of times she used the state name, I lost count(as well as interest after the 20th time) Her VP status is about Alaska not the Office of Vise President.
... I'll say it again if you are jackass enough to vote for this Woman you get what you deserve.
... Should she become President(now there's a thought I would rather not dwell on) Alaska will be the FIRST State. With her blessing.

. Amazing what politicians will do to get elected. It has nothing to do with what is good for the country. John McCain in order to garner the votes from those that will not vote for Mr. Obama has selected a Female, the Governor of Alaska.
. Mr. McCain and his handlers can't say they are going for the votes in Alaska, there aren't that many votes to be had by picking Governor Sarah Palin (R), She was picked solely to capture the votes from disgruntled Hillary Clinton supporters.
. Well guess what folks, if John McCain gets elected you are now looking at the next President of the United States. a woman less known than Barack Obama.
. Be very careful what you wish for, you just may get it!
. Please remember that the key export from Alaska is OIL! We don't need any more black snow.

We the people have had enough.
Stop the bullshit in Washington. Every bill that is put up for vote by the Senate and Legislature should be done as a roll call vote.
Why, because that would stop the state Senators and the Legislature from hiding their voting practices.
Why don't they want it? Simple, they do not want those that voted them into office to see how they voted. They would be kicked out on their ass.
In this election many promises have been made by both sides. Are the American people stupid enough to believe that the Senators are going to permit those things to happen? They will only pass laws and bill's that sweeten their hold on their congressional seat.
Name names. Let us decide if they are doing their job. Give the voters a way to kick out the dead wood.
Stop paying those that brake the law while in office, not just a short list but any felony should STOP their pension. The tax payers are spending millions on those representatives that are now felons while they collect their pensions. EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE IN PRISON.

( 3 / 5 )John McCain Hero or Horror.
. I'm about to say what too many people have been saying, or thinking quietly.
. John McCain was elected to State Senate in Arizona based on his status as a war hero. True he was a war hero, but that fact should not have gotten him elected to anything. Being elected to public office should be based on ability not uniform, not the ability to squeeze a trigger.
. We in have had two recent Presidents that were Military. Teddy Roosevelt, Dwight D Eisenhower.

( 3.3 / 7 )A toast to, well maybe.
. Mr. Obama, congratulations on having the good judgment to keep the news media chasing their tail on your selection of VP, Joe Biden. Your timing is/was impeccable.
. Now we all have a new fiasco, Not only do you have to defeat Mr. McCain who by his ads is not only incapable of being President by demonstrating his lack of knowledge about his own personal life but we get a two-fer' if the pundits are correct and he picks Mit Romney, just an other Bushite' They should work well together.
. BY the way I want everyone to remember that he American people including his own party didn't want him(Mit Romney) to run for President and now he stands to inherit the office if the senile Mr. McCain is elected with him as VP. Shame on us, shame on the office.
. Shame on you Mr. McCain, for offering your wife as a contestant at a T & A beauty contest. After remarking that Mr. Obama was in Germany entertaining 250,000 at a rally. I would be willing to bet that there were as many American voters in that audience as you were playing to in N. Dakota. They are called Tourist, Soldiers, and the families of same. Shame on you.

... The Election is over, and now we all get to hold our breath to see if we go back to pilitics as usual, or a real change is in the future. Let's all remember that the President is still there. His 'Veto" can and will be the final word. If the past is any measurement of this Presidents future, this election means nothing to him, it's just different people to discredit and deal with.
... One would hope that the 'Isle' has been erased, but we all know it still is a factor in what gets done. We would also hope that the polititions will remember WHO put them there, and WHO can remove them. A reminder to those in Office, "We The People" have decided that you ARE EXPENDABLE. Your job in the Government is to serve the People that put you there. Your job is to act as OUR Vote, and yes it is a job, and being so, remember YOU can be fired. If there are any doubts, look at the Vote of Nov. 7 2006

Government & Regulate, All in the Same Sentence?
… Are you joking? The Federal Government has decided it wants to regulate the Internet. Now I find that amusing if only because the Federal Government can not regulate it’s self.
… Every day we are finding out that an other Senator, or Congressman is a croaked S-O-B, padding His or Her way through their term. Yet there are no REGULATIONS that stop the croaked bastard from receiving a Pension even when they are convicted.
… Senator lightfingers, steals for 20 years, gets put on a Golf course(Oh that’s not correct, it’s a minimum security prison) (( GET REAL)) for 6 months, and still gets paid by the Government, and at age 65 still gets a Social Security check. Are You Shitting me!
You try it. His friends, Mrs. Snatchit Quick, and Mr. Grab Abunch Esq, Can’t keep their mind off the trips to a Skiing resort, and they want to regulate the Internet!

What was that?
Watching the Evangelical Q & A of the perspective Presidential candidates last night I couldn't help feeling that the answers were nothing less than 'Checking off the boxes'
Obama's answers long enough to be convincing.
McCain quick but none the less rehearsed.
I'm sure both men new some of the questions, their the usual questions asked by the steeplepeople. Those good folks that think an unseen entity is the governing body behind everything that is.
I have no problem with religion or those that live by it. Lets separate the two. Let's keep the two apart.
Voting for the candidate of your choice should be about who is qualified to run this great nation, not who thinks the supreme being was a Buda, Jesus Christ, Muhammad, or Ronald McDonald.
I don't care what you believe as long as you vote with rational thought, NOT because you have an agenda that is different than mine. Not because some man or woman told you on Sunday that this is what God wanted. He or She never talked to God. He or She never got a text message, or candygram that told them what to say.
Complete separation of Church and State.
. Or Religion should pay taxes on all that money your church, synagogue, mosque has invested in multinational interest, and Billions of dollars in Real-estate. There is NO difference between the Catholic church and ExxonMobil. TAX them both.

Or as it is better know in the political world, Democrats and Republicans.
Although we have the best government in the world, it has become a fight to see what side of the isle can win. Not what is best for the Country. If the Democrats vote for it, the Republicans vote against it. And the reverse is true as well. Politicians are elected by ‘Poll’ rather than ability. Popularity is more important than knowledge. Campaign is measured more thoroughly than performance. Negativity has far out paced intention.
